The meaning behind our logo...

There is a gauge around the IS logo which is a visual cue that represents a scale or a means of measuring mass.  On the gauge there are seven points which the needle can refer to and this underlines the seven units of measurement: meter/kilogram/second/electronic current A/K thermo dynamic temperature/amount of substance mol/luminous intensity candela CD.  The needle on the IS scale is pointing to the second unit of measurement in the list, kilogram, which is specific to the products Industrial Scale sells and services.
